Vans and Major League Baseball are bringing the Los Angeles Dodgers into two of Vans’ most familiar silhouettes: the Era and the Sk8-Hi.
The collection stays close to the Dodgers’ visual identity, but it does more than simply cover the shoes in blue. Both pairs use an intentionally aged finish, tearaway uppers, Vans Checkerboard, Dodgers branding and red stitching inspired by a baseball.

The Detail That Makes the Story
Inside the collection is a small reference Dodgers fans will recognize immediately: 7:10 PM. Vans places the time in the sockliner as a nod to the familiar first-pitch time at Dodger Stadium.
It is the kind of detail that works because it is not the first thing you see. The obvious cues are the Dodger Blue color, team graphics and Checkerboard. The 7:10 mark rewards a closer look.
Built to Look Broken In
Vans describes both shoes as having a distressed, aged finish with tearaway uppers inspired by sandlot sneakers that have already lived through summers, games and seasons. That approach fits Vans naturally: these are shoes that rarely need to look untouched to look good.
The red baseball stitching adds contrast without overwhelming the blue-and-white palette, while the Checkerboard keeps Vans’ own identity visible throughout the collaboration.
Two Silhouettes, Two Personalities
The Era keeps the collection low and easy, while the Sk8-Hi gives the same concept a taller canvas. The Sk8-Hi also carries Dodgers branding across the upper and outsole, with Vans’ vulcanized construction and signature waffle outsole underneath.
That gives buyers two different ways into the same story rather than two completely different concepts.
Shervarino Take
This collaboration works because neither side has to stretch very far. Vans and the Dodgers are both deeply connected to Southern California, and the design leans into that shared geography instead of inventing a complicated theme.
The strongest move is the worn-in execution. Rather than presenting Dodger Blue as something pristine, Vans gives both pairs the feel of shoes already connected to summers, stadium trips and everyday Los Angeles life.
